This is the descendant of a 5 year old tank. Several of the plants I've had for a while. The rocks are from a streambed in Breckenridge, CO. I collected them about 6 years ago. But the setup is about 2 months old with new lights (gift from a friend who designed them- EcoTech Radion LEDs) that I would never be able to afford. The soil is new- ADA aquasoil. Well the babies are a few weeks old and already showing color and all I can say is WOW! These are gonna be fun to raise. Now looking forward to the next batch.
Well as we have created the Anabantoid group we changed the name to the American Labyrinth Fish Association (ALFA) and I am finding myself having to get rid of some cichlids that were back-burner projects to make room for anabantoids. Tomorrow I will start on the next stand for 55s to house and breed some of the larger anabantoids. I am hoping to get some good pics for some good articles. Well I went into feed today and noticed the Koi Angels I had in a breeding tank had a swarm of babies. I never saw them lay any. They are being good parents. My Platinum Angels look like they are about to spawn. I am thinking I want to try a black x koi angel spawn to see what they will look like.
