OKAA President Gerald Griffin was given an Outstanding Service Award (his second) and named a Fellow of the Congress by the International Betta Congress (
http://www.ibcbettas.org/pages/) at its 2010 Convention in Indianapolis (
http://www.midwestbettaclub.net/convention2010.html). These are exceptional awards and the OKAA is proud to claim Gerald as its own. Gerald was also a featured speaker at the convention, giving two talks: "Color Preservation" and "Wild Species Maintenance Program." Gerald has long chaired the IBC's Species Maintenance Program (
http://smp.ibcbettas.org/) and has built it into a truly international program with advisory board members and participants around the world.
